Save the date: Marco Polo-Conference 2010 to be hosted in Vienna on 5^-6 October 2010

This year's Conference of the European Union's funding programme Marco Polo will be taking place on the 5^th and 6^th of October in Vienna. For this year's Conference, the European Commission cooperates with a local organizational committee consisting of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, the Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology, the Port of Vienna, and via donau. Additionally, the City of Vienna is showing support for this event.

The first Conference day will be held in the facilities of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber located on the Wiedner Hauptstrasse. Bilateral meetings for funding applicants, a technical visit of the Port of Vienna and the National Park Donau-Auen located East of Vienna are on the programme for the second day of the Conference. In the tradition of the Marco Polo Conference, various European experts dealing with intermodal transport are attending this year's Conference. Over 200 business people from Austria and the rest of Europe are expected to participate.
